New Bed Nets Distributed in Sierra Leone

We greatly appreciate your support that has provided long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) to families and individuals in Freetown. Recently ten treated insecticides mosquito nets were distributed to children in Freetown, including to Ibrahim and Hannah pictured in this report. Ibrahim also tells us in this short video clip, how thankful he is for the mosquito net because it will protect him from getting infected by the malaria disease by preventing mosquito bites while he sleeps.

In his video he says

Hello, my name is Ibrahim and I am one of the beneficiaries of Develop Africa Sierra Leone. The mosquito net you provided me will protect me from mosquito bites while I sleep. Thank you so very much Develop Africa and Global Giving for this mosquito net.

Long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) are an effective ongoing source of protection to prevent Malaria by protecting families while they sleep at night in Freetown. Your continued support is appreciated as we strive to provide every family in Freetown with protective long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs). We encourage you to start a monthly recurring donation here. Even a few dollars a month will go a long way in providing protective bed nets to every family in Freetown. Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.
